I numeri delle OCR Italiane
Quando si parla di numeri, si rischia sempre di cadere nella trappola dell’influencing. Si tratta naturalmente di una tecnica di marketing: infatti dichiarando “questa gara è la più seguita d’Italia” oppure “si sono già iscritti in 800, vuoi forse mancare tu?”, l’atleta si sente più indotto a partecipare alla gara, pur non avendone la reale propensione. Pensateci: è’ la stessa tecnica usata nelle hit parade musicali. La teoria dice che se una casa discografica vuole migliorare la vendita un disco, basta che emetta la hit parade con il disco al primo posto e le vendite aumenteranno automaticamente. Il tutto al fine di influenzare le persone a fare qualcosa per cui magari non hanno un reale interesse.
Il nostro sito non vuole essere un influencer. Questa tabella è scritta solo per la curiosità di conoscere in quanti atleti siamo a gareggiare nelle OCR, quindi ad avere questa passione per le corse ad ostacoli.

La legenda è semplice:
comp: competitiva
no comp: non competitiva
shrt: short, gara tra 1 e 6 km
std: standard, gara tra 7 e 15 km
lng: long, gara oltre i 15 km

Fonte
La fonte di questi numeri è la classifica finale, quella “ufficiale”, includendo tutti gli atleti con zero braccialetti (nel caso di gare FIOCR). Non è sicuramente il modo perfetto (sappiamo che almeno 20 atleti si sono ritirati alla Inferno Water 2019 per ipotermia, sappiamo che la Hell’s Race 2019 ha invalidato la gara competitiva dove hanno corso qualche centinaio di competitivi), ma è il modo oggettivo affinchè chi volesse verificare di persona possa farlo.
